Of Lexington, July 11, 2008. Wife of Richard J. Volpicelli. Mother of Richard J. Volpicelli, Jr. & his wife Linda of Bedford, Ilene M. Rosencrants & her husband Tom of Atlanta, GA, Kathy Breen and her husband Jerry of Winchester, Michael J. Volpicelli & his wife Tina of Pelham, NH, & Joanne C. Zimmerman & her husband Joel of Lincoln. Rita is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Kara Varden, Nicole Volpicelli, Richie Volpicelli, Anthony Marzetti, Alissa Marzetti, Michelle Breen, Melanie Breen, Meghan Breen, Michael Volpicelli, Tori Volpicelli, Cole Zimmerman, & Paige Zimmerman. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Wednesday, July 16 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472 or to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
