George Stangas Obituary

Of Woburn, July 12, 2008. Beloved husband of Debbie (Houhoulis) Stangas. Devoted father of Nicholas, Christina and Alexis Stangas. Loving Son of Urania (Christinakis) and the late Theodore Stangas. Brother of Michael Stangas & his wife Linnea. Son-in-law of Arthur and Mary Houhoulis. Brother-in-law of Kathy Hempel. Loving Uncle of Theodore James Stangas and Jacob Hempel. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, S Chestnut St., ARLINGTON, on Wednesday, July 16 at 9 am followed by Services in St. Athanasius The Great Greek Church, 4 Appleton St. Arlington at 9am. Visiting hours on Wednesday 5 to 8pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn, MA.

As a child, I remember George coming to my mother's house to play with my brothers, Michael and Steven. He was a kind and thoughtful person even then. George, we will miss you.
