Norm will be sorely missed. He was one of the good guys at Polaroid. He saved my job a few times. We worked together on many projects during my 32 years at Polaroid, and I will truly miss his smile and kindness. Anytime he went on a trip he always brought me back a doll because he knew I saved them. There are no words to express my feelings.

Dear Pat, my deepest condolences to you and Guy. I will always have great memories of Norm, not only because he was the most supporting manager I ever had, but although I was 15 years older, he turned out to be my mentor and advisor. I will never forget him or thank him enough for the support and guidance he gave me during our relationship. May he rest in peace.

Norm was a unique and genuine person. Always open for new ideas and most important, fun to work and be with. One of the many fond memories was the after-work softball where fun blended in with the competitve spirit to win. My condolences to his family.

To Norm's family,
I was saddened to hear about the loss of Norm. I finally met Norm at Polaroid in 1990 after hearing so many great stories about him over the prior twenty years. I felt I made it to the big leagues when I was assigned to a project he headed up. Norm lived up to all the great things people said about him. He was a no nonsense type of guy who believed in Polaroid. He was a great team leader who wanted what was best for Polaroid without having to step on people to meet his goals because he believed in himself. He was a regular guy who people wanted to be around and I am grateful that I was once part of his team. May your memories of him bring you peace and comfort in the years to come. I'll miss knowing he is no longer with us but will never forget his part in my life and will continue to think of him as I drive through Wells on Rt 1.
My Deepest Sympathy

Norm was my last boss at Polaroid. He truly exemplified the best that Polaroid was for us for so many years. Norm treated all Polaroid colleagues with the utmost caring and concern. He was the embodiment of the Second Aim and lived his career in keeping it. During my last year at Polaroid Norm gave me much counseling and advice for which I will always be grateful. Polaroid was a tough place to leave, but Norm helped me through it, with a lot of his own personal time and coaching. I am sure there are many other stories of his caring and concern. He was very committed to the company, and moreover its people. We all will feel a certain emptiness knowing that he is no longer here with us. God speed his soul.
