Arthur Tower Obituary

of Hingham and Mattapoisett, July 9th, 2008. Husband of Betty (Johnston) Tower. Father of Arthur P. Tower, Jr. of Fairhaven and Steven J. Tower of Rockland. Grandfather of Thomas Tower and Steven Tower, Jr. Brother of the late Jane Hutton and the late Virginia Moore both formerly of Hingham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 17th at 2:30 PM at the Second Parish Church, 685 Main St. (Rt. 228), Hingham, MA 02043. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Old Colony Lodge, AF & AM, 8 Amber Rd., Hingham, MA 02043 or to Second Parish Church. The interment in the Hingham Cemetery is private. Mr. Tower,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
