Betty
I just received the note from Stonehill about Bill’s passing.
He was, as you know, highly respected by every one of us in the class of ’52. He was always positive, completely sincere and made time for everyone. That small white Stonehill envelope brought each of us a pang of sadness, but also a rush of happy memories of one of the finest persons any of us has ever known.
Jacquie and I extend our sympathy to you and our best wishes during this difficult time.

Bill was a good person and a good person to work with. I worked with him at Measured Progress and he was always there before me to start the day, except for the times he was kind enough to give me a ride.He was meticulous with his work. He was black and white in the nicest way, - salt of the earth, sweet as sugar with that touch of pepper for the zip and zing . I will miss him. Karen Douglas kd

Bill was one of the kindest men I ever knew. And he was witty, with a love for life too. I met Bill some years ago while working at Measured Progress in Dover and during the time I've worked there his face every day was one of the welcome moments in my day. Words cannot express how much I will miss him. We could talk sports, politics, culture, theology, and so many other things. Bill was a precious human being and I consider myself fortunate to have known him.
My prayers and condolences to his wife and son during this time of their loss. And I have faith that someday we will all meet Bill again. Bill would second that thought, as we shared a deep and abiding faith.

Mrs. Wishart,
I was sorry to read about the death of Mr. Wishart. I am a student of his. It was many years ago when he taught in Danvers. It was Mr. Wishart that helped me decide to become a teacher! He was a great role model. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Wishart, I have worked with Bill for many years at Measured Progress and so enjoyed his kind and gentle manner. I also fondly remember the cakes you baked. Bill would proudly present them at any of our little pot-luck lunches. Andrea Rowell

Betty, I'm so sorry to hear about Bill's death. I felt a part of your family here in the Back Bay of Danvers esp. during those struggles of high school. Entering high school without a father, Bill was a good substitue father for me during those times. I'm happy to know we kept in contact all these years.
Love,
Barbie
