So long great-grandfather, and great you were. You were the perfect example of a great person, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Your attitude and knowledge inspires me. You will be missed so deeply by your family and the people you have encountered in your long and successful life. The way you lived your life mesmerizes me. There will always be a spot on our couch for every Red Sox game. Love and miss you Pop.

Pop I will miss you. I will always have you in my heart. Rembering the times watching Bugs bunny as a child and you would sit with me slouched on the couch looking so comfortable with me. Convinced that Will E. Coyote would get the Road Runner (he'll never get him) . Then you would laugh that laugh that i will never ever forget... WHA WHOOOOO.... I love you more than I ever told or could ever could express. We all will miss you. Heaven is now a much better place with you. I will see you in time. love R.J.

Pop, you will be missed dearly. I will miss you very much. Everybody in the family will miss you as well. I loved it when you would come over, and when you would go to leave, you would ask to take our cats home with you. Also, when you would come over, you would always have a jar of pennies for me to put in my collection. You will always be with me in my heart forever as well as these memories. I love you Pop.

I was very fortunate to have a great-grandfather like you. I rememer every time you would come over to my house, my cat Marshmellow would sit on your head, you didn't even care. Also, whenever we would come over to your house, you would hand us a box of clipped coupons. There would be hundreds, thousands! This family will just not be the same without you, Pop. We will miss you forever and ever, but we will always remember the good and fun memories each of us had with you. I love you Pop.

I will miss Pop tremendously. He was a wonderful great-grandfather in my life. He taught me many things and made me laugh a lot. All the great-grandchildren were very fortunate to have Pop as a great-grandfather. Not many people have that opportunity. Some memories I have with Pop is when my cat Marshmellow would sit on Pop's head and he didn't even care. Also I will always remember when we would go over his house, he would always give us a box of clipped coupons. I will miss you so much Pop, along with the rest of our family. I love you Pop.

POP
One of the greatest men I have ever known. What can you say about someone that gave so much an asked for nothing.Pop was my grandfather I do not remember the first time I met pop because i was just born, but I know he remembers meeting me that first time. Pop was the kind of person that was always there for you if it was a birthday a birth or whatever he was always there.I remember alot of things about pop. Makeing him play cautch with me till his arm just about fell off an watching many games with him. It is these little things that meant nothing at the time but mean so much today. I will always remember these things. Pop had no favourites he loved us all the same. If we could all be just a little of the person Pop was it would be a much better place. You will be deeply missed by all of us. Pop i miss you an love you, an I know i will see you again some day.

How can you describe how much you love someone who had the impact; the effect on my life that you did, Pop? Simple words aren't big enough to hold all the feelings I have; all the memories I will cherish the rest of my life. Dodging waves at the sea shore to get that one more shell you saw just out of reach in the freezing cold. Falling asleep sprawled across you as you watched football games on holidays when I was a child. Picking boisenberries on the side of 128 and wrapping them in your clean white shirt, knowing Memere would so not be happy about the stains. Kikoman soy sauce and why it isn't Kiko-woman; these are things that will stay with me forever. The love, wonder and silliness you brought into my life will never go out; it will light my way through the darkness. I expect you to be waiting for me when it is my time to go.

Pop. I can't believe how often I spoke that one word, that singular title that only described you. Always into trouble, always into fun and knowledge. And forcing me to watch baseball with you. So many regrets I have for the things I wanted to say and do with you. I can't even begin to describe the sense of loss and grief I feel, and yet I know you're watching over me now. Picking berries in the sky with God (how's that for a conversationalist?). I'm sorry that I can't be there to mourn with the family. My heart is ripped in two for that. Know that I love you, Pop, and I miss you so very much. I'll light a candle for you, Pop, and continue to talk about you every day. Remember Charlie misses you. Even if all of your grandkids and great-grandkids are Charlie - we all miss you.

Remember that your loss is shared by many friends who care, and that you're in my thoughts, heart and in my every prayer. May you find the courage to face tomorrow in the love that surrounds you today.

You were my father-inlaw for 25 years; and I love you as much today as the first day we met, those many years ago. I will always love you Pop, you were and always will be the best. So funny always quick witted. Also a man who loved flowers, picking berries, no matter where they were located. So many memories, from long ago and also recent years. I will love you always, so rest peacefully, you surely deserve it...Loveingly Julie
