Of Reading, July 11, 2008 at age 79. Beloved wife of the late Alfred T. Monahan. Devoted mother of Alfred and his wife Yong of TN, Paul of Tewksbury, Richard and his wife Paula of Dracut, Thomas of Reading, Joan of Wakefield, William and his wife Katie of N. Reading and Kathleen Monahan-Anderson and her husband Brad of NH. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Steven, Pamela, David, Kyle, Lindsey and Casie. Dear sister of Jean Neville of Quincy, Jonnie Shumaker and Janet O'Bre both WI. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Joans life will be held Thursday at 9 AM in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street, Reading.
