Thank you for the opportunity to remember Josie. She was a wonderful woman and we all enjoyed working with her. Im sure that her family and friends miss her presence in their lives.

To the Perez Family,
I have just learned of Josie's passing and I am very sorry for all of you. Unfortunately I was on vacation this past week and was not notified. I deeply regret that I was not able to attend her memorial service. I have known Josie for many years because I had been her supervisor at Intercity and currenlty at ESP. Josie was loved not only by her peers but also by the participants she cared for daily. She truely worked from her heart and it showed. I recall a conversation I had with her when she first returned from her first bout with cancer. I begged her to take is slow when she returned, fearful that she would wear herself out. Josie agreed to start out part time but then after a couple of days she called me and said she was ready for full-time. She could not wait to get back to all the participants she took such excellent care of because she knew how much she was missed. Josie was an asset to ESP and always a pleasure to work with. She made me a beautiful blanket for my baby shower not to mention her famous chocolate chip cookies and tortillas. She will be missed but never forgotten.

To the Family of Josie Perez
I am so very sorry to learn of Josie's death. It was such a privilege to know her and to work with her at ESP for so many years. In the very early days of ESP start up, it was Josie's commitment that allowed us to be creative and deliver care in new ways. She was always willing to meet a need and always with a smile on her face. I will never forget her enormous contribution to the success of the program. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow. Josie spoke of her family all the time, and was so happy when she was going to have the grandchilren over. Not only was she a wonderful co-worker but she also took pride in the care she gave to the elderly, they loved her as much as she loved them. She will always be remembered by her co-workers in ESP.

Fina was a second mother to me and I only hope time will heal the pain I am feeling from her loss. To my "brothers" Victor and Kenny, we have each other always and forever. My girls will miss their "Fee Fee" but will always know how wonderful she was to them. Kate and Dana, the boys are very lucky to have such wonderful and supportive wives Fina was so proud of her daughter-in-laws. Anthony and Michael will always be reminded of what an amazing abuela they had. Our job now is to keep her memory alive and we WILL.

I was so sorry to hear about Josie. I worked with her for quite a few years, first at the Lyman, then at Lewis Mall. She was such a good person...a hard worker....took very good care of the participants there in the E.S.P. program.
