Our family met Donna Kaye and her family while she was still a child. Her big, beautiful brown eyes allowed the world to sneak a peek at the soul of a very special young lady. Any one who actually looked into those eyes saw something special in Donna Kaye ... and you realized right then and there, that your very soul had somehow been elevated. She touched our lives, our hearts and our souls. We have been Blessed for knowing her. Our prayers are with her family. The Gostnell's (Colo. Spgs. CO)

My thoughts and prayers are with you Travis and Amanda. Your mom was a lovely person. I knew her through Bill when I worked with him in Massachusetts.
I pray that God will watch over both of you and all of your loved ones. I pray that His blessings will console you and help to heal the pain of your loss.

We

July 17, 2008

Donna was an inspiration and a guiding star, may the strength and determination she displayed be a lesson to us all.

As the sun rises in the east, to open and adorne our day, let it remind us every day how, You, opened your heart and mind each day with the same regularity, and always without complaint.

No longer will you endure the bitter struggle you carried for so long. The burden is now lifted, calm and peace will reign with you forever and forever.
The angels brought you near to us, and now will help you rest.
The noon-day sun shines bright for you, for you blessed all those whose lives you touched, and as the setting sun draws near, the endless shadows brought us here, stretched out beyond, to parts unkown, please have no fear, for the light will always shine for you. I know it's true, for I can tell, by the twinkle in your eyes.

It was an honor and a pleasure to have known you, Donna. You will always be my other 'twinkling star'.

May the warm winds of heaven blow softly upon you. The angels wings will comfort you, and the Lord will make his face to shine upon you.

It is not often that you are able to meet, know, or love someone whose mere presence truly touches you. Aunt Donna was such a person. To know here was to absolutely adore her. I am, as I'm sure many of her family and friends are, deeply honored to have known such a beautiful, warm, and energetic person.

In life Aunt Donna laughed and loved with us. When she got sick, she became the embodiment of true strength and courage. I will always be proud that I was able to call her my aunt. She was and will forever be our hero.
