Cecelia Heiligman Obituary

Of Newton, formerly of Framingham, on July 16, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Fred Heiligman. Devoted mother of Dr. Mark Heiligman and his wife Sondra of Baltimore, MD and Dr. Gary Heiligman and his wife Rabbi Joanne Yocheved Heiligman of Columbia, MD. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Graveside Services at The Framingham-Natick Hebrew Cemetery, Fairview Ave., Natick on Thursday, July 17 at 11 AM. Following Services, the family will gather at the Ballroom of Lasell Village/Lasell House, 120 Seminary Ave., Newton. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The American Red Cross, P.O. To Cecilia's family... Muriel Budd and her family share in your loss of your wonderful mom. While my mom was living in the Village, they were very close and often had dinner and lovely visits. Your mom also would come up to Lasell House to see our mom after her stroke and never forgot their friendship. One Thanksgiving she came to our house to join our family. It was a time we will always cherish. I know you will miss her warmth and love and will think about how fortunate you all were to have her well into your adulthoods. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you during this sad time.

Cecelia was a geat lady. Quite a character and full of life. During the time that I was privilaged to know her she would set up appointments with me in my Natick office when she was going to the hairdresser or playing cards with the girls in Framingham. She lived life the way she wanted to and it was long and it was a good. She will be missed.

My sympathy to her chidren and granchildren whom she loved dearly.
