Loss of a loved one creates a deep sorrow which can only be lessened by good memories. A mother's life continues forever in the lives of her children; Honor her.

Dave -

They say God takes the good ones; what that says about the rest of us I don't know, but now He has a good one by his side, a Guardian Angel watching over a family she must have been so proud of. I would never pretend to know what you and your family are going through, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will miss you Mary Jane!! I always loved talking to you and laughing. The best was what we pulled to get Joanne to come for her surprise Birthday Party. Life is not going to be the same without you, that is for sure. You were a Lady in every way. You will always be in my heart.

David, Will, Debbie, Ellen - it was so sad to hear about your mother's death. She was a wonderful and strong woman. My mind quickly falls back on times of baseball card trading, whiffle ball games, shooting hoops in the driveway and little league - during the Pine Ridge, Sunset Ave and North Street days. She was there with a glass of kool aid or a popsicle on a hot day.

We are sorry for your loss, and you are all in our thoughts.

With Love, Tim Haynes and Family

Dear Ellen, Debbie, David, Joanne, and all family-
I am so sad to find that MJ has passed away, my deepest, heartfelt sympathies to you all. I feel so privileged, grateful, and blessed to have known her for the short time that I did. She was a truly wonderful woman with such a great sense of humor. The world is a lonelier place today without her in it.
Thinking of you all-
Pamela

To David, Ellen, Debbie, Will, Aunt Joanne, and the rest of Mary Jane's great family,

I'm thinking about you all and remembering all the good times with the Doherty family. Mary Jane always welcomed me into 3 Pine Ridge Road, and I was lucky to know her as the caring, protective, generous, and humorous mother that she was. It was great to spend some time with her at David's big party in 2005. That night, despite the pain she was in, she seemed very content, surrounded by so many family and friends. I don't know all that she endured these last few years, but I will always remember her as a fighter and loyal friend.

I'm sorry for your great loss.

Love,

Mary Caprio
