Thomas Hopkins Obituary

Of Dorchester, formerly of Kinvara, Camus, Co. Galway, July 19, son of the late Peter and Mary (Carter) Hopkins. Devoted husband of Mary (Baby Lee). Loving father of Mary E. and her husband Charlie Coulter of Abington, Elizabeth Ann of Watertown, Thomas (Lt. BPD) and his wife Jennifer of Quincy. Survived by his sister Babe of England, his brother Paraic of Galway, and the late Mame, Mike, Nan, Nora, Bartley and Bid. Dear "Uncle Tom" to many many dearly loved nieces and nephews in Boston, Ireland and England. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 23, at St. Gregory's Church, Dorchester, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday 4-8PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Late Retired Employee of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Dept. Former President of the Dorchester Irish American Association and Music Club. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115.

We were sorry to hear about Tom's death R.I.P. He was a wonderful guy. I am also very sorry we were unable to go to the wake or funeral. Mary fell and broke her leg and has been in the rehab for seven weeks.
