Dear Stephanie and Tom,
Louie will remain in our hearts forever........in a very special place.
We thoroughly enjoyed his company, his wit, and his genuine love and concern for the humanity of all the lives he touched. We were glad to be considered among his friends, and to have known this very talented man. To have shared such good times will be a memory to cherish, even as we miss Louie's company.
Please accept our very sincere condolences to you both, and to his family. He will be in our prayers.

On behalf of the entire Cummings School family, I would like to send our deepest sympathies to you. "Mr. K" has been with us since we opened our doors, and he has had a tremendous impact on the lives of literally thousands of Winthrop children.

His dedication to our school community and his genuine love for the kids was an inspiration.

Although he was only required to be with us for 50 hours a year, he chose to be with us and his new friend and co-teacher Mr. Hudd every day, all day, all year long. He really enjoyed being here, and we really enjoyed having him !

He was able to instill a love of learning and a love of Science to so many of his students, and that gift will be certain to be a living testimony to him through the future accomplishments of the young people whose lives he touched.

He may have been an engineer by trade, but he was a teacher at heart, and a great one at that!

Mr. K, you have left a hole in our hearts as you move to your next journey, but we are so thankful you chose to spend some time with us. In our eyes, it was certainly time well spent.

We will miss you, and thank you being such a big part of making the Cummings School the special place that it is.

Stephanie & Family,
Although we only knew Mr. K for 6 years, he was a wonderful, kind soul. Always stopping to say hello and share a story or two. Vinny always enjoyed working with him in class or just sitting on your steps chatting about things. We will miss seeing him every morning walking his little dog around the center. Please know we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by many.
