Flora Koundakjian Obituary

Of Belmont, July 19, 2008, age 102. Survivor of the Armenian Genocide. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel Koundakjian. Devoted mother of Adele Der Manuelian (and her husband Haig), Anne Gregoire, Elizabeth Koundakjian, Marion Osterberg (and her husband Robert) and the late Margaret Boyajian. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her loving sisters, Yeprouhie Chopourian and Sirouhie Bardizian, and loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services at the Armenian Memorial Church, 32 Bigelow Ave., Watertown at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, immediately followed by burial and reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Armenian Missionary Association of America-Orphan Child Care, 31 W. Century Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652
