I was in the air, flying from Hawaii when my grandma passed. Thank you to everyone that has left a comment. My grandma was indeed an extremely special lady. I hope that I have made her proud with the course my life has taken, (6 1/2 years Active Duty Navy, 2 combat tours, EMT, father of four) I love you grandma, and I miss you.

So sorry to hear of your loss of Lorraine. We skated together at Bal-A-Roue in Medford, MA. I was fortunate to see her again last June in Rockport, MA. She was indeed a lovely person.

I've just heard the sad, sad news of Laurie's passing. This is a tremendous loss, not only to her family but to all who knew her. I'll always remember her kindness in coming east in June '07 when I lost my husband. We have been friends for more than 60 years, meeting first through our love of roller skating dancing at the (now gone) Bal-A-Roue, Medfore MA. My deepest sympathy to all of you. God bless andlove to all, Marie Foss

To Lorraine's Family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of such a wonderful woman. I only knew Lorraine through her writings on classmates.com over the years. She was full of life and had a way with words.
My condolences to all of you.

I am Lorraine's cousin and my name is Alice (Honey)Ford Cwieka. I just learned of her passing and I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this. I had gotten an e-mail from her about 2 weeks ago expressing how much she would like all us cousins to get together in Boston. My prayers are with all of you. If someone would e-mail me and let me know what had happened I sure would appreciate it.
