Harold Galliford Obituary

87 years old, July 15, 2008, of Peabody, formerly of Everett. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Defeo) Galliford. Father of Karen (Galliford) Davis and her husband James of Peabody. Father of James Galliford and his wife Carol (Monteforte) of Tewksbury. Brother of Samuel Galliford of South Huntington, PA, the late James Galliford and the late Lois (Galliford) Mikulski. He is survived by 4 grandchildren James Davis, Jr., Jennifer (Davis) Croft & husband Mark, James Galliford and CarrieAnne (Galliford) Forgione and husband David; 7 great grandchildren: Sophia, Alaithea, Taylor, Kyle, Alexa, Madison & David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Harold was born in Millvale, PA and graduated from high school at the orphanage at Chamberburg, PA. He served honorably in the Merchant Marine and US Navy from 1941-1944. He was a Disabled Veteran. For many years, Harold owned and operated Harold's Machine & Repair in Everett. Arrangements were handled by Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home of QUINCY, MA. The family will have a private Service in the near future in remembrance of Harold.
