Please know that we extend our deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of Gerry. He was a special man, always asking about others in his gentle way, though he was suffering himself. He was so proud of all his family and you meant the world to him. He loved to tell stories about the old baking days, but his little holiday gifts of Valentine & Easter candies showed that he still had that special talent! Sincerely, Marty & Mike McFarland

I've had the greatest pleasure of working with a great man which I've always called "Ezedale". It was 1972 when We first met at Carney Hospital. Gerry always made me laugh with his jokes and stories. You will surely be missed! My Deepest Sympathy and Prayers to the Esdale Family...

Dear Maureen and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Gerry(with a "G" as he always reminded you)was filled with love and appreciation of all who came in contact with him. He especially loved his family and grandchildren. He was always so proud to show off pictures.
He made my days at Carney pleasant ones, always joking, chatting and just plain having "fun"!!! He will be missed.

I would just like to pass along how sorry I was to hear of Gerry's passing. I have only known Gerry for a short while (at Quality Care dialysis) but I could instantly tell how much of a nice and caring man that he was.

I want to give me deepest sympathy to the family of a man who helped me become the person I am today , I meet Jerry when I was 17 years old while working in the kitchen at carney Hospital at that time I didn't know what the meaning of hard work and taking pride in your work ment but it didn't take long for Jerry to teacher me and pass along some of his own thoughts and for that I will never forget him . He was and will always be a great man and friend in my eyes and I can only try and pass some of the things he has instilled in me along to others . I will always remember him as the man with the big smile on his face and the man who always had time to say hello and tell a quick joke or ask you how you family was . Jerry will never be for gotten and you, his family should know that he was very pround of each of you . God bless !
