Irene Butler Obituary

Age 92, formerly of Stratford, CT, died on July 19, 2008. She was the widow of the late Arthur S. Butler and the daughter of the late Dimitry and Anna Yurtin. She is survived by her loving son David and his wife Ethel of Acton. In addition, she was the devoted grandmother of Katharine Nesta and husband Craig of Newton, MA, Jonathan Butler and his wife Trinidad of Acton, MA, Andrew Butler of Malden, MA, and Hillary Butler of Arlington, VA. She is also survived by her three cherished great-grandchildren, Spencer and Elisabeth Nesta of Newton, MA, and Emma Butler of Acton, MA. She moved to Acton after 50 years of residency in Stratford to be nearer her family. She resided at the Inn at Robbins Brook while in Acton. She was the Corporate Secretary of the former Newport Manufacturing Company of Milford, CT and was formerly the Supervisor of Safety Deposit Vaults at First National Bank of Bridgeport. She had been retired for 28 years. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green, Stratford, CT with Interment following in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
