Eliot Eames Obituary

Of Duxbury, 91, died July 23 at the Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury. The son of the late David and Lillian (Deiss) Eames, he was born in Arlington on August 6, 1916. He was raised and educated in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School and Northeastern University. He was formerly employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Charles T. Main in Boston. He was a founding member of the Grace Chapel on Lexington and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his beloved wife, Thora E. (Hingel) Eames, 2 sons, John E. Eames of Nashville TN and Stephen T. Eames of Duxbury, 1 daughter, Karen E. McDonald of Russia, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Graveside Service on Monday at 11 AM in Mayflower Cemetery, 771 Tremont St,. Rte 3A in Duxbury. A Memorial Service in Lexington will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by the Sullivan Funeral Home in HANOVER. Dear Thora, John, Steve, and Karen,

Our deepest sympathy in Eliot's homecoming - sympathy for you, rejoicing for him. I'm sure he was greeted by Mom and Forestine and so many who have gone before. What a reunion we will have someday.
