Virginia Vasconcellos Obituary

Of Pembroke, MA, formerly of Braintree, age 58, passed away July 25, 2008 at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, MA. She is survived by her husband Stephen J. Vasconcellos of Pembroke, MA, son David S. Vasconcellos of New Jersey, brothers Robert Sullivan & Steven Sullivan both of RI, sister Maureen Sullivan of NC, her aunt Agnes Sullivan of RI and many nieces and nephews. Born in Newport, RI, Virginia was raised in Middletown, RI and attended Middletown High School, she then enrolled in the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated in 1971. She was an operating room nurse at Boston Medical Center. Virginia loved to travel & going to the beach, she always enjoyed their trips to Sarasota, FL. Calling hours will be held Mon., July 28, 2008 from 4-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte 14 Pembroke Center) PEMBROKE, MA. Family & friends are welcome to meet at the funeral home Tues. morning at 9am for a funeral mass to follow at 10am at St. Joseph the Worker in Hanson, MA.
