To my father Chet, what an inspiration you have been through out my life. Honest, sincere direct and goal-oriented, you without expecting acknowlegement for your guidance accomplished what is truly most important in our lives in guiding me to be the man I have become. I'll always love you and miss you in my life daily. Your son Wesley.

To The Layne Family:

Our sincerest sympathies on the passing of Chet. Having met him a few times while I was working for Suzanne and Darryl at the store, we will always remember him quite fondly...He was so kind, intelligent and charming, with a heart of gold...he was one of those people, that even though we had just met, it felt like we had known him a lifetime...It was an honor to have made his acquaintance and gotten to know him as well as his wonderful family whom we count among our treasured friends...
Our hearts go out to his family and friends...He will be greatly missed...
