Thinking about you today and not a day goes by that I don’t have a memory. You were a devoted son to your parents. A loving member of our family. Looking through pictures I see that contagious smile and beautiful eyes that were the window to your soul. I know you are looking down on your parents and embracing them my favorite nephew. Gregg was a beautiful man; I always looked forward to seeing and hanging out with him. He always made me feel like a million bucks. I was away this summer and was shocked to hear of Gregg's death when I returned. I will treasure the times we spent together and thank God that I knew this dear, dear man.

Gregg had a firm handshake and a generous smile. It was always good to talk to him. His concern was instinctively for others. I will remember him as both friend and family. He was a good son and loved his parents. Their loss is immeasurable and all who knew Gregg share it with them.

Gregg worked with my late husband Eric Fisher for many years and as well as being a terrific agent Gregg’s pranks and humor made his day richer. I didn’t know Gregg well but his joyful spirit was contagious. My condolences go out to all his family and friends. May his joyful spirit remain to comfort you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when we went to France- 12th grade at Pope John- we were in the old, old castles with fine art on the walls and a group of us would pose as the people in the pictures- I still have those pictures - same smile.
Take care and have courage in the days ahead.

Gregg Romano took me to my first R rated movie, The Rose, when I was fifteen years old. In 1980, this was a big deal to get into a movie not suited for adults under 17. I always think of him when I see Bette Midler on stage.
Gregg and I were classmates at Immaculate Conception School. We also shared the same last name, Romano. We became friends after we graduated from Immaculate. It is because of Gregg that I went to the College I attended. His father took us to a college fair night. I spoke to the admissions rep and was sold on the school.
I have many happy memories of Gregg. Some remembrances are just the everyday things that happened in life. I always loved how he corrected our seventh grade teacher when he called him Greggory. He loved starting some harmless fun that the nuns did not welcome – not one bit. Gregg took me to my first high school dance. After his Dad dropped us off, he discovered that he didn’t have the tickets! Remember there were no cell phones in those days. We ended up cutting through a cemetery in the pouring rain to get back to his house. He tripped over a beer bottle. A cop in the area yelled at us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mr. & Mrs. Romano, and all those who loved him.
