Of Cambridge, formerly of Winthrop, July 27, 2008. Beloved wife of James. Loving mother of Emily of Brooklyn, NY, Ruth of Winthrop, Agnes Gallant & her husband Cliff of Cambridge and Andrew Hegarty of Winthrop. Sister of Elizabeth Garchinski of Medford, Bernard and Mary Costigan both of Winthrop, Thomas of Bristol, NH and Anna Marie Morelli of Lynn. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Owen and Conal Gallant. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass. Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. John's Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial in Winthrop Cemetery. Parking available at Pemberton Garden Center. Online condolences at www.keefefuneralhome.com

I am so sorry. Winnie was a wonderful woman and inspiration to so many. She will be missed, but I have no doubt she is in a peaceful place with those she loved and were taken before her. I believe she'll always be here in spirit and watching over those she loves.
