Joseph Weinzettle Obituary

73 of 6 Organug Lane, York ME died Saturday, July 26, 2008 in York Hospital. He was born October 7, 1934 in Queens, NY, son of Joseph and Dorothy (Saul) Weinzettle. He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He graduated from Chicago Institute and was a civil engineer at the World Trade Center. He was the owner of J. L. Weinzettle Construction Co. in York. He also worked for J. B. Sullivan Co., for W.T. Rich Co. and for T.L.T. Co. all in Massachusetts. He leaves his wife of 51 yrs, Theresa B. (Hosbach) Weinzettle; four daughters, Joan Weinzettle of Kittery, ME, Judy D. Mankus and her husband, David of Wolfeboro, NH, Karen P. Gaible-Carroll and her husband, Thomas of Lexington, KY, Auralee S. Gaible-Ellis and her husband, William of Mastic Beach, NY; a sister, Joan Marcel of South Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Conley, Jessica and Carly Mankus, Theresa, Barbara and Jennifer Carroll. Calling hours for Mr. Weinzettle will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, July 30th in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, ME. A funeral service will be held at 9 am on Thursday, July 31st in the Chapel at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Rd. in Augusta. Please visit www. lucaseatonfuneralhome.com
