John Prohaska Obituary

Of Marblehead, age 78, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Radius Healthcare Center in Danvers, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Jane (Healy) Prohaska, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, John T. is survived by a son John D. Prohaska and his fiancee Rebecca DeNault, a grandson Harrison John Prohaska, all of Millbury, MA and daughter Amy Prohaska of Waltham, MA. He was the son of Edward and Mary (Ballas) Prohaska of Dorchester, MA, both deceased. John T. was the youngest of six, the brother of Mary Prohaska, Edward Prohaska, Edna Prohaska, Ruth (Prohaska) Simoneau, and Janet (Prohaska) Hensen, all deceased. John T. is survived by a large and loving circle of extended family and friends. A celebration of John T. Prohaska's life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2008, 2-6 PM at Sweeney's Retreat, 18 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead, MA. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 or My Brother's Table, 98 Willow St., Lynn, MA 01901. Arrangements by the Eustis Cornell Funeral Home, MARBLEHEAD.
