Albin Wrublewski Obituary

Of Braintree, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his daughter's home in Wellesley at age 83. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he lived in Braintree for more than 40 years. A US Army Air Corps Veteran of WW II, Al worked as an elevator mechanic for Boston Elevator & Machine Co. for 31 years, until his retirement. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed camping, hiking, woodworking and gardening. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. The beloved husband of the late Eleanor M. "Ellie" (Connelly), he is the loving father of Richard Wrublewski and his wife Karen of Braintree, Thomas Wrublewski and his wife Susan of Framingham, Linda Biela and her husband Robert of Bridgewater, Karen White and her husband Robert of Wellesley and Cheryl Rioux and her husband Gene of Holden, ME and the beloved grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 1. He was the brother of the late Edward Wrublewski and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Aug. 1st in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street (off Hancock St.) QUINCY CENTER from 4-7 PM. At the family's request, services and burial will private. Donations in Al's name may be made to the Beacon Hospice, 160 Speen St., Suite 202, Framingham, MA 01701.
