Cant believe its been 10 years since Earles passing. He was always interested in other people and we always enjoyed being with him at family get togethers. A very kind, generous and fun person well always remember. Very much missed. Marcy and Clark Broden

Judy, I learned of Earle's passing through Bostonia, B U Alumni Magazine. Shock isn't even the right word. We(my wife Joan)saw him last on Memorial Day 2008 when we were in town for a bar Mitzvah and had breakfast with him. No matter how many years went by, we always felt bonded by our years at BU and TEP. I will feel his loss greatly. The memories of the Friday Sabbath dinners at the home in Chestnut Hill are still very strong even after 50 plus years. We were fortunate to have spent a few weekends with him in 2004 and 2005. His friendship was truly valued. I know it is almost nine months later but you and your children and grandchildren are in out thoughts. May his memory keep all of us in smiles. I know that the B U hockey team could not have pulled out their miraculous finish last weekend with out his help. I will truly miss him. Taub Kornblut

I had known Earle through Lahey Clinic and was horrified to see his obituary. I would like to write a condolence letter to his daughter, Gayle Dublin, but I cannot find her address. Can someone send it to me at [email protected]?
Thank you,

I was so very saddened to hear of Earle's untimely passing. Earle, Judy and family were so special to me back in the "old" B.U. hockey days. His generousity and loyalty to the team and friends was unsurpassed.
The Leeder family was always special to me, and I will always appreciate that. My sincere sympathy and love to you.

I was very sorry to hear of earle's passing. I remember Earle as a child at KI with his dad and my dad and myself at Shabbos services. And of course all the good times that we had as kids growing up. Though I haven't seen him, or Kehillath Israel in years I am sure that he will be sorely missed

Earle was an extraordinary man who touched alot of lives. We shared many happy times at Blueberry Hill Drive, Sanibel and New York. Most of all, Earle and I loved BU hockey. His loss will forever be deeply felt by all of us who knew him. Rest in peace, man.

As a friend, business associate and client you surpassed the meaning of professionalism and friendship. Your passing has stalled my sense of enthusiasm. I will miss the knowledge of hockey games, the friends seated next to you and joy each game brought you.
Perhaps someday the community around you can look back and say you lived your life the way you wanted.

Earle became a special friend sharing past memories dating back to the early yearrs of Coach Kelly to the present. His love and caring of the B. U. program and players is unparallel. We spoke to each other at least weekly discussing past seasons as well as an update of the cuurrent and the recruiting of future players. I will miss seeing him at the games as well as our onging dialogue. He was a very special guy as well as a friend. People like Earle have made our B. U. Hockey program one of the the premier in terms of quality in the country. He will be missed.

How can you forget the Sunday's at the Leeder's. Earl and Judy were so kind to all the B.U. Hockey players. One of the things that I remember most was throwing "Howie" in the pool and the great food. I will always remember his kindness and generousity.

Dear Leeder Family,
I'm very sorry for your loss. I wish I could have made it to one of your remembrances for Earle, but I was away at the time. Earle is someone I knew through the RHA, and he was at all times a friendly, supportive, and genuinely good person. I will miss him.

Earle will be missed. All through the years since we left BU, Earle, Judy and family have remained friends. It will not be the same when we attend BU games in future, not seeing him there.

We were saddened to learn of Earle's passing.
During our BU hockey days, what wonderful memories of fun times at the Leeder's beautiful home in Weston...... always open to everyone with generousity and hospitality.
We are so glad that we had the opportunity to see Earle at the BU Hall of Fame banquet recently.
Our sincere sympathies to Judy and family.

To the Leeder Family:
I was very sad to learn of Earle's passing. I knew him through the Spellman Museum. He was a real stamp collector and you could see his enthusiasim for the hobby every time we spoke on the subject. His generosity to the Museum will be remembered. He always stated how he had been blessed by God and was grateful for His many blessings. My wife and I will remember the entire Leeder family in our prayers.

So sorry for your and our great loss. I knew Earle mostly as his tenant. He was always decent, honest and thoughtful in his business dealings. That is so rare now. Sometimes he would put on a tough front, but always behind the scenes he would do the kind and decent thing. A little business and then he would constantly ask about my children - how they were doing and what they were doing. What a great loss to our world. Tom

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. He was so supportive of our hockey teams while I was at BU and it was great to see him return over the last several years. Glad to see his recognition this past may by the BU Hall of Fame. It won't be the same this winter. May he rest in peace.
