I was Vida's roommate her Freshman year at Wellesley and was so saddened to hear of her passing. I was just thinking of Vida yesterday - she was such a warm, caring person.

I am very sad to learn of Vida's passing. I knew her when we worked together at the World Bank in 1986, and lost touch with her afterwards. She was an engaging, charismatic person. My deepest sympathy to her parents.

dear Beder family,
I am so sad to read the sudden Vida's missing, we still had some exchanges thoughts by e-mail time to time sending some kind jokes mixing french-english. She was a beloved friend since her trip to France and Geneva about 30 years ago. We were writing about mutual friend lost for a time. We have kept contact during all these years.
It is too early to go, I will miss you Vida, you were such a delightful person.

I was so sorry to her of Vida's passing. She's was way too young to leave this world. I was extremely sad to hear this news.This world was a better place beause of Vida. I have many fond memories & experiences of knowing Vida in Junior High and High School in Westwood. Vida was a very sweet soul and a really charming person who always had a sweet smile and cheerful outlook and disposition. I'm so sorry, Vida will be missed. I was so Blessed to have met you amongst the strangers in a very dark space (who ever would have guessed that when we crossed paths a few years ago, we would meet again) I'm so happy we got to reunite. I am so sorry to hear about Vida. I remember riding the bus to WHS with her when we lived in Fairway Acres. She was always sweet, kind and had a great sense of humor. She was also brilliant. It is obvious from the other guest book entries that Vida touched many hearts. She will not be forgotten. God bless your family.
