Anne Franks Obituary

In West Hartford, CT, formerly of Quincy, age 83. Died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the West Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Franks was born in Boston, raised and educated in Dorchester schools. She was a graduate of the former Dorchester High School for Girls. She was employed as an administrative assistant in the Insurance Division with the City of Boston for over 20 years and retired many years ago. Mrs. Franks was a former member of the Companions of the Forest of America and she enjoyed quilting. Beloved mother of John A. Franks and his wife Ellen of West Hartford, CT and the late Patricia F. Craven and her late husband John. Devoted grandmother of Kristin F. Bissell and her husband Scott of Glastonbury, CT, Lori F. Finn and her husband Joe of South Yarmouth. Loving great-grandmother of Elia Grace Bissell and Alex J. Finn. Sister of Francis X. O'Halloran of Brockton and the late James H. O'Halloran. Memorial Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., QUINCY, Friday, August 1 at 11 o'clock. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Interment was held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Memorial donations in Mrs. Frank's memory may be made to the Mary Kaye Fund, c/o Waldron, 176 Marlborough St., Apt. 2, Boston, MA 02116 or the Todd Ouida Childrens' Foundation, 591 Clarendon Ct., River Edge, NJ 07661.
