Elizabeth Doucet Obituary

July 30, 2008. Beloved wife of 72 years, of the late John L. Doucet. Loving mother of Leonard A. Doucet & his late wife Patricia of Norton, Estelle R. Pothier & her husband William of Malden, Joseph A. Doucet & his wife Patricia of Melrose and John L. Doucet & his late wife Teresa of Winchester. Caring sister of the late Margaret Turner, Bernard Babin and Edmund Babin. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., MELROSE on Monday, August 4th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30-9:30AM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elizabeth's name to Catholic TV, 34 Chestnut St., P.O. Box 9196 Watertown, MA 02471 or the charity of your choice.
