I am so devestated by this news. I didnt get notified till after Mike was gone. You and Mike gave me a chance in life I will never get again. My times singing and being with you both bring nothing but happy memories for me. Music for me was a way to express myself and make me smile and Mike made that possable for me. He was a talented musician, he had a great sense of humor and he was a friend to all. Thank you both for giving me the chance to know you both and giving me the memories I have. I know Mike is up in heaven with his band going already!!!!.

Michaels Poem
There was a day when I met Mike.
We had a talk..what was not like.
And then one day I heard he was sick.
So I bought him some candles and thought that would be licked.
But when you get older your powers diminish.
You no longer have the strenghth to reach the finish.
So Mike will now meet other friends I know.
Laughter and lasting memories..the candles will glow.

Papa Mike will be greatly missed by his grandson Michael. If it was not for Papa Mike, Michael would not have had the joy of music and learning to play the guitar. Michael loved playing hockey or ball with Papa Mike. Michael will greatly miss his friendship. He brought joy and happiness to all of us. He will be missed tremendously.
