Dear Mary-Jane,
How deeply saddened I was to hear of Father Bill's death. My heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers are extended to you and to all of your sweet family, especially at this time.
Oh, how I enjoyed your uncle's company when he resided at Concord Park! Whenever I saw him, usually on many an occasion during the course of the day, he would always greet me with his charming smile and of course, a blessing.
Father Bill and I had such fun during activity times - he dutifully participated in my daily morning exercises, listened intently to talented musicians, always enjoyed visits from local youngsters, delighted in the out-of-doors when we enjoyed the patio and Father Bill always shared prayers with us at our morning reflections. And every year I was always touched that he would ask me to assist him with administering ashes to all of the residents on Ash Wednesdays.
I know your uncle will be sorely missed by so very many, but I also know that with the prayers and love of those around you - the precious memories that you all shared will one day bring you peace.
I feel so blessed to have known your uncle, Father Bill, and I am honored that he called me a friend-
Love and prayers to you and yours,
joe Hennelly

Dear Mary and all of Bill's loved ones,
I am so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I remember when we all lived together at Number 18 Grampian Way. The Commane family lived on the first floor, and our Dailey clan lived above. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time in your life. Deepest sympathies, Fondly, Dottie Donnelly Hawley

Our sincere sympathies to the entire family of Fr. William Commane. May the hand of God comfort your hearts and bring peace to you in this time of sadness.
My memories of our special friendship, St. Margaret's, your deep faith, talking sports, hearing about your weekly golf match, your trips to Ireland, California and to play golf, your family updates, your love of God and family, trimming your never ending hedges, our chats while eating a sub or steak tip dinner, Linda Mae’s, will last a lifetime.
We are all grateful to God for letting our paths cross, so you could enlighten our lives in so many ways.
St. Peter has Fr. Bill working already, guarding the gates of Heaven, making sure people arrive on time.

I remember Fr. Bill so well when I was a teenager in South Weymouth. He had been ordained only a short time before, and was such a blessing to St. Francis Xavier parish. He was a wonderful priest. I am now 73 years old.

Dear MaryJane, Steve, Billy, Mil and families,
Father Bill was such an important figure in all our lives - representing a life set aside for Christ.
When his fulltime ministry was over, you all stepped up and made sure he had the love and care he deserved from his earthly family, and that was a beautiful thing to witness.
May he rest in peace,
Love,
Michele and family

So very sorry for your loss. Father Commane was my priest growing up in Saugus and I reconnected with him in West Concord. I've missed him coming into the 5 & 10. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
