Alfred Silva Sr.

78, of Belmont, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Aug. 3, 2008, from cancer at the Concord Hospice House. Mr. Silva was born Dec. 1, 1929, in Somerville, MA. He is survived by his children Alfred Jr. and his wife Carol Silva of Medway, MA, Daniel and his wife Susan Silva of Wakefield, MA, Barbara Jane and her husband Dennis Donahue of Stoneham, MA, Scott and his wife Rhonda Silva of Everett, MA; two sisters, Elsie Feltz of Stoneham, MA, and Jean Davis of Delray Beach, FL, as well as a very special friend in Paul Descoteaux; also 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Robert J. Silva and John J. Silva. There will be a private ceremony and remembrance by the family.
