Of Newport Beach, CA, formerly of Waban. Suddenly July 28, 2008. Age 58. Beloved son of the late Edward D. and Louise D. Canty. Brother of Virginia M. Young and her husband Carl J. Young, Atty. of Newton and the late Ted Canty. Uncle of C.J. and Jeffrey Young, Both of Needham, Christian Young of Boston, Jennifer Watts of Medfield, and Carolyn Veglia of Minnesota. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot Street, Newton, MA 02464. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
