Cousin Mel is someone that I will always remember from my childhood as someone that was filled with fun, love, and a warm embrace. I remember visiting my grandparents as a child at 44 Locust St. Cousins Eva & Mel, Fran & George, Edith & Arthur and others would come and visit with us and "Auntie Sara". Mel always gave me the impression that my mother, Barbara, was someone special to him. Whether that was true or not doesn't really matter. It's just something that I felt and it has always put a smile on my face.

A great husband, father and grandfather. He was a man who taught me many things and who I always looked to for guidance and inspiration. He will be missed by all who were touched by his love and enthusiasm for life.
