Of Walpole formerly of South Boston August 10, 2008, age 86. Beloved husband of Ruth C. (Farrell) Stevens. Loving father of Paul M. and his wife Jean Stevens of Sagamore, Brian J. and his wife Maureen Stevens of Harvard, Marsha R. and her husband John McManus of N. Andover, and Andrea M. Stevens. Cherished grandfather of Andrew Stevens, Kerin McManus, Dana McManus, Geoffrey Stevens, and Colin Stevens. Brother of 4. Funeral from the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, WALPOLE on Thursday at 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne. WWII Navy Veteran.

Mr. Stevens,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Paul, Jean and Andrew, all Stevens Family. We are so sorry to hear about your dad and grandfather. Our heartfelt sorrow is with you. We wish there was something we could do to help with the feelings you are having. The only thing we can say is try to remember the fun times you all have had with your dad and how much he loved all of you.
