Of Newburyport formerly of Medford, August 10, beloved husband of Rita (Messina). Devoted father of Diane LoPreste of Newburyport, Michael LoPreste and his wife Pam of Amesbury, and Theo LoPreste of Medford. Brother of the late Mary Madden, Josephine Katz, Paul and Frank LoPreste. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Late U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent in Gaetano's name to the American Diabetes Assoc., 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
