Of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, August 10, 2008 at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Felice D'Amico. Devoted mother of Lena Higginson of Stoneham, Leo D'Amico and his wife Ella Ann of Chantilly, VA. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Michelle Higginson of Stoneham, Ariana and John D'Amico of Chantilly, VA. Dear sister of Concetta of Italy. Predeceased by 7 siblings. Loving aunt of Josephine, Rose and Anthony D'Arrigo of NY, Rose Parisi of Medford and Anthony Parisi of Abington. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews of NY & Italy. Former Mother-in-law of Joel Higginson. Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Santa's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family & friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Wednesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. We are so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. She fought hard, and was so blessed to have you and your brother and the rest of her family with her. Just having met you at the ICU for 2 days, I can tell what a devoted, loving daughter she had. She must be smiling down on you from heaven, so proud of how strong you were. God bless you and your family, may you find some peace during this difficult time.
