Jasper Bogosian Obituary

Of Needham, Heights, 81, August 10, 2008, surrounded by his family. Devoted husband of sixty years to Peggy "Margaret" (Chatalian) Bogosian whom he loved until the day he died. Father of Jasper Bogosian, Jr and his wife Mary Elizabeth of Needham and Wane Mark Bogosian. Grandfather of Allison Mary Bogosian, Esq. and Captain Amy Rachel Bogosian who served four years in the army. Brother of Gladys Shyne formerly of Needham and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bogosian retired after thirty seven years as a GM employee of the Framingham plant. He was a graduate of Newton High School, Newton Trade School and Franklin Institute as an electrician. A veteran of World War II he served in the Sea Bees stationed in Okinawa. He lived his life by the Sea Bees motto "The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer." A member of the American Legion Post # 440 in Newton, he loved his country, playing cards, and was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church in Needham. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Thursday at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham.
