Sister Patricia Barry S.N.D.

In Worcester, Aug. 11 at age 93. With the Sisters of Notre Dame for 62 years. Born in Roxbury, daughter of Patrick & Margaret Barry. Graduate of St. Gregory High School, Dorchester & Emmanuel College. Teacher at Notre Dame schools for more than 50 years including St. Joseph School, Somerville; St. Laurence and St. Rita schools in Lawrence, and St. James School, Salem. On the faculty at St. Augustine's in South Boston from 1963 to 1970 & at St. Gregory School in Dorchester from 1970 to 1992. She leaves a sister, Sister Rita Miriam Barry S.N.D. of Ipswich; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Barry of Northboro and Joan Barry of Whitman; a niece, Patricia Barry Berthelette of Uxbridge, a nephew Paul Barry and her sisters in religion, the Sisters of Notre Dame. Calling hours at the Notre Dame du Lac Chapel, 555 Plantation St., Worcester, Thursday, Aug. 14, 4-6 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel.
