Theresa Munger Obituary

(Sr. Mary of St. Margaret of Scotland) died at St. Patricks Manor in Framingham on August 11, 2008 after a long illness. She was 81 years of age and had been a Sister of the Good Shepherd for 56 years. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Burke of Natick and her brother, Fred of Watertown, many nieces and nephews and many faithful friends including Don Shepherd and Emily Maitin and their two children, Melissa and Jeremy of Wellesley Hills, MA. She was born in Pittsfield, MA the daughter of George and Flora (Elser) Munger. Her funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 15 at 9 am at the Good Shepherd Center Chapel, 406 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA. Calling hours will also be at the Chapel on Thursday, August 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Additional calling hours will be on Friday, August 15, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. on Rte 20 in Watertown, MA. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown, MA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough www.SFCFH.com

Auntie Theresa,, I have many fond memories of you growing up. I looked forward to your visits and having you sleep in my room. We would chit chat @ night till "you" fell asleep. I remember being in awe seeing you in your habit.
