Dan,
I have had many wonderful experiences associated with the game of soccer and none of the truly important ones had anything to do with action on the field. Quite by accident we had an opportunity to be associated with a central MA team at STS. The most cherished part of this association was the friendships and caring we had with the parents and especially you and your family. I still keep the "cheat sheet" you made for the parents with the name of the parents and players in my wallet and look at it occasionally and remember the wonderful people we met. I truly believe the greatness of a person is demonstrated by the depth of love expressed for this person by others. After speaking with you last night and seeing the love you had for Cheryl I knew what a wonderful person she was. Always quiet and deliberate, on the sidelines I was truly struck by her conversation and intelligence. There's nothing I can say that can express my sadness over Cheryl's passing or make up for the void that will be left except to say you have made many friends that care about you deeply and will be there for you should you need us.
I'm sure that you have great memories that will comfort you and the girls and hope that you'll count your STS family among those cherished times.

Dan, although we only crossed paths occasionally, you and Cheryl really earned our love and respect. You were the perfect neighbors.... from your willingness to help us improve our immediate area, and your humor at our mutual weed-growth. We only wish we had had more time to really get to know you as a couple. You both are wonderful folks,. with your priorities very much in order...... family, family, family, but most of all....each other. Dan, we are here for you.

Dan , Kristan , Jaclyn and Nancy :
I want to express my sincere condolances , to you all , on the passing of Cheryl , a truly fine lady .
I really don't know what I can say to you other than to reasure , to you , what you already know .
I remember when Cheryl came to join our Raytheon " Family " as a Secretary in the Accounting Department . In the ensuing years it was a joy watching her , with all of her talent , weave her way " up the ladder " to become Cost Accounting Manager . A position that she , so richly , had earned .
She was always the ultimate professional , completly cordial and always helpful. I considered her a Friend as well as an extremely competent co-worker .
Again , my most sincere condolances for you loss .
Mike Cahill , Raytheon ( retired , 1995 )
