I hope time continues to bring many happy memories of your mom. For me, it was a joy to see you all again and be able to meet your children (and grandchildren!) Your mom must have spoken to someone up there to have granted you all such wonderful weather for your trip to the beach. Please keep in touch and call if any of you are ever in Newburyport.

Dear Jerry, Beth, Jimmy & Tommy...
Our deepest thoughts are with you at this time. Jerry, I only met your Mom once, (very briefly at the ceremony award day for you & Mikey) Although I didn't know her, I believe she must have been a wonderful woman, since she raised a wonderful man like you who is so kind and caring to everybody. You're a great father to Jimmy & Tommy, (and Mikey!!) a great husband to Beth, and of course a great neighbor!!! Not just because you saved my son's life!!! ... but, you also care for everybody around you, you always help anybody in need, and most of all... you make us all laugh with your great sense of humor. I'm sure your Mom was so very proud of you!!! I know you'll miss her dearly. We are right next door if you, Beth & the kids need ANYTHING!!!

Having lived with you, through all the health problems and other events that you and your family have experienced, I just want YOU to know that I think you have been such a devoted and caring daughter to your mother and I know that she is smiling down on you from heaven thinking about how lucky she was to have you and all of your siblings in her life.
