Frank Miller Obituary

74, died Sunday, August 10th, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous six year battle with diabetes, and cancer. Born in Haverhill, he was a life long resident and member of St. James Church. Son of the late Frank P. and Agnes (Quirk) Miller, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1951, and attended Merrimack College. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Korean War proudly serving his country as Administrative Assistant to General John J. Ryan of the Seventh Infantry Division. He received the Military's Commendation Medal with metal pendant. He leaves his beloved wife Patricia (Ambrose) Miller with whom he would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary next month, six children and seven grandchildren; Laurie Inglese, her husband Ralph and their children Katie, Ben, and Chris of Short Hills, NJ; Paul Miller, his wife Fiona and their children Molly and Conor of Newburyport; Suellen Miller of Clinton, MA, Tim Miller, of New York City; Tara J. Miller, her husband Carter Dyal and their sons Griffin and Declan of Los Angeles, CA, and Mark Miller of Haverhill. He also leaves his twin brother and sister-in-law William D. and Madeline P. Miller, of Haverhill; and brothers-in-law W. Robert Jeans of Georgetown, MA, and John J. Ambrose of Tampa, FL and sister-in-law Jean (Ambrose) Wilson and husband Edmund of Chicago, IL, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Eileen Jeans, and Patricia Meagher. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call Today at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte. 125) HAVERHILL, MA, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose St, Haverhill.
