Of Quincy, August 13, 2008. Husband of the late Catherine A. (Brennan). Father of Janet Veasey and her husband Robert Binney of Boston, Elaine Veasey Mullin of Portland, ME, Carol Veasey and her husband Michael Hornbrook of Milton, Mark Veasey and his wife Helen of Quincy and the late Robert T. Veasey. Dear friend of Clare Ferguson of Hingham. Grandfather of Alex and Leigh Hornbrook, Michael Mullin, Katryna & Thomas Veasey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. WWII Navy veteran. Donations in memory of Mr. Veasey may be made to Franklin Park Zoo, Zoo New England c/o Diane Rogers, 1 Franklin Park Road, Boston, MA 02121. Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
