Salvatore Magazzu Obituary

Of Medford, August 13. Beloved husband of the late Giuseppina (Casale). Devoted father of Paolo Magazzu and his wife Elia, Giovanna Capone and her husband Jerry all of Medford, the late Maria Puleio and Carmelo Magazzu. Also lovingly survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. MEDFORD Monday at 9AM followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. All of us will remember the wonderful times we spent over the years with Compare Salvatore and his late wife, Comare Giuseppina. They were two of the kindest and closest people to us that I can remember as a young person. My late parents, Pippo and Cicitta Romano truly thought the world of them and their children.

Just the other day I was going through old family photographs and I found some of Compare and Comare at my parents kitchen table, along with Paolo, Elia, Anna and the late
Carmelo. Those are incredibly good memories for me and for all in our family. We only have the fondest memories of the entire Magazzu family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
