Scrolling I was so happy to see the Honorable name of Morris Rubin.
On the 4th of July 2001, I was staying with a beautiful lady in Cambridge while attending Haiku North America at the Boston Cultural Center. She held a Fourth of July party in her backyard. I invited Morris Rubin. He came with a lovely lady. Morris was my employer for many years off and on from 1966-1972. We had a very good time at the celebration of our country´s Birthday. Morris said he would be marching in the American Legion band afterwards. I attended the event and saw him playing the trumpet. What a great patriot. My life is filled with his blessings. He taught me so much. He owned the National Electric Motor Company.
He´d say, "Howard go to this address." He´d hand me a slip of paper. "What´s the problem?"
"So, go and fix it." He expected me to go, find out, and fix it. And I did.
In Roxbury, friends might say, "You´re a genius!" When I fixed something. I knew who the real genius was, Morris Rubin.

My sincere condolences to the family of Morris Rubin. I worked for him for many years at the National Electric Motor Company in Roxbury and later Dorchester, Massachusetts. I left the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1972 but never forgot him. I tried to keep in touch over the years. The last time I talked with him, he was 96. What a great man. His influence is with me all the days of my life.
I remember a little song he sang:
"I should worry
You should care
We should both
Be Millionaires..."
With respect and admiration.

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your father. I came to know him through Lois Morrill and would pick him up to visit Lois. He was a beautiful man and a gentleman.
