Received a memory reminder today and the tears still flow. How I miss you, your voice and all our memories of the past cut short too soon. Your words of we are where we put ourselves still ring true everyday. I have moved again to a small town named Westminster and look forward to being in leaf peeping country to remind me of one of your favorite things. Just spent the weekend in Wells with my sisters but have to avoid the antique shops because you were not there to advise me what to buy. I still have quite a collection from our days and some dear items from Anne who kindly shared with me. As Diana said, someday we'll be together again. Babs

Diba,
Why is it almost a year later that I am tearing up more? I know you would simpy tell me to "deal with it" but its harder each day. Missing you terribly and don't know what to do.

My sympathies go out to Tommy's family. Michael, I found out today about your brother's passing, had I known I would have come to pay my respects. May he rest in peace.

Hey Tommy,
Thanksgiving came and went. Mother Dearest made your famous cauliflower & cheese dish. I couldn't bring myself to eat any of it though, it just wasn't the same. I think of you every day. Of how quickly you were taken from us. Of how courageous you were throwing yourself a 50th birthday party knowing there was a good chance you weren't going to make it to 51. And you didn't, you knew didn't you? I have the picture of us in my living room and I look at it every day. I know you are missed by all the people who's lives you have touched. I miss you Tom, my godfather. I know you were watching over my father when he got into the car accident. And I thank you for not taking him with you, I don't think this family could take anymore heartache.
I know it is really you coming to me at night and that I am not dreaming. It's ok I'm not scared. You can visit me anytime. Drop in on my sister Nikki sometime she misses you especially Thanksgiving week.
Talk to you soon.

Hey Thomas,
I was driving down 125 to work today and I thought of you. The leaves are starting to change and this is the perfect time to go looking for antiques. I know you were here with me the other night. I know it wasn't just a dream. Keep coming to see me. Miss you everyday.

My fairy god-father,
I wanted to wish you a belated birthday. Your on my mind every day. And I know that the other night it wasn't me just dreaming of you. I know you were really there with me. Watch over "Mother Dearest" she needs you.
Love,
your god-daughter

I am Debbie DeVita Darlene's sister. I finally had the pleasure to meet Tommy in December of 07. What a perfect time to go to see him in the house. Wow!! Trees everywhere and the decorations were so wonderful, just as I had imaged them to be. For years Darlene had told me about all the ornaments. Some I recongnized from being a young child.

It was wonderful to finally meet him.

He was so special to Darlene and I know his family and friends will dearly miss him.

My dear Tommy, I miss you! I'm looking at the daisy's sitting here in honor of our friendship-only you knew how much darla loved her daisy's! Tommy you made me a better person-before the stupid cancer and after. Our friendship was like no other, I always felt so blessed to have you in my life. I'm not a good story teller so I'll leave that up to the others that have signed (anne m. so perfect!), I've enjoyed reading them especially in the morning, they always bring a smile. That's one thing I can say about you my dear, WE will always smile when we think of you.

My Godfather,
Where do I begin? I always knew that I was lucky to have you as my godfather. The trips to the Garmet District, you taught me the difference between a good buy and junk. Christmas time you always made your cookie platters and cauliflower with cheese and jalepenos. Your "colorful" language and the honesty that you carried with it. If I wanted to know if I looked good or bad I could always count on you for an honest answer. Your birthday party last year. Noone else could pull off waving a wand at people and telling them they could go home now!! Looking at all those pictures of you from your younger years, a handsome and healthy Patrick Swayze look-a-like. It was sad to see how much cancer took a toll on you. But you remained in good spirits. Even a week before you passed you still maintained your sarcasm and sense of humor. Cancer may have taken you from us, but it can't take all the memories that we have of you.
I hope you have made your journey safely. I know you are singing up there with all the legends, eating chocolate covered cherries with Lucy Arnez. 'Til we meet again my godfather, sweet dreams and may you rest in peace. I will think of you always and will carry you in my heart forever.
Love always your godchild

Tom,

I am relieved to know that you are not suffering any longer. Your strength and love of life will always be what I remember.

You were such an incredible friend to my brother George, and also to my family. I remember my father constantly complimenting you for your new hair styles...

I also remember the laughter you always shared with my mother Doris; she truly enjoyed your visits.

I'm so glad that I was able to work with you in the planning of your 50th Birthday Party; I had such a good time really getting to know you and your family through your family portraits and the video that we were able to create. This will be such a keepsake for us all to see over and over again.

I trust that you are now living it up in your new path ahead of us! Until we meet again, I am so proud to be your friend.

Peace Be With You!

Tommy,

Thank you for making the what could have been average more beautiful. For helping me find the humor in the mundane. For showing me what was possible. For encouraging me to be silly and courageous. Thank you for letting me have the JFK plate. Thank you for knowing what would be prefect.

Thank you for making me a little better.

I miss you.

I met Tom when I first came to Boston in 1982, and like most people, was fortunate to be a character in the music video that was his life— The lights were bright, the soundtrack was exciting and the production values were big- There was not one moment in Tom’s life when the tape got edited or the cameras stopped rolling. Sometimes his life imitated art, and sometimes art imitated his life, but nevertheless Tom always made it fun and interesting, and an adventure through his wit and intelligence. Google has nothing on Tom’s knowledge of pop culture!

Tom, you fought a hard and courageous battle, and I will miss you terribly- You leave behind a loving mother and family, and a bevy of wonderful friends, all of which you’ve left your indelible imprint on. You found a place in all of our hearts which is where you’ll live forever, and no damned cancer will ever take that from us. Tom, have a magnificent rest, and please put a good word in for all of us!

Love,
Rick

Tom
You will be truly missed. I knew from the first day I met you, you were one of a kind. You kept me laughing on a daily basis. Working with you at the hotel was the best. I was your "Miss thang"!! I would like to thank you for inviting me to your home and sharing the holidays with me.
Several years had gone by and I ran into you some months ago. I heard your voice without seeing your face and I knew it was you. We hugged for about 15 minutes and talk the rest of the night. Thank you Tom for being a part of my life. You are a great person and a great friend. I love you FOREVER!

Tommy,
It has been previously noted by your close friends that you passed from this world the same day Elvis did. We hope that you two are somewhere wearing "Blue Suede Shoes" and causing "T-R-O-U-B-L-E". We know that you would be trying to comfort your mother Ann with "That's Alright Mama" and you would not want there to be any "Crying In the Chapel". I also know that "You'll Never Walk Alone" and there will be "Peace In the Valley" now that you are free of pain.

I will miss you Tommy, it was such a great pleasure to know you. You have taught me so much!!! Whenever I go to New Hampshire, I will think of you. When I go antique shopping, I hope that you are by my side ensuring that I get a good buy.
I wanted to call your cell phone one last time just to hear your voice again on voicemail. Please to contact me, I would love to hear from you! You were truly one of a kind!

As the radio announcer used to say of "Elvis, (Tommy) has left the building."
Rest in peace!
Love,
Flo aka Chlorine aka Corinne House
