Charles J. Deveau

Age 86, of Henderson NV, formerly of Acton, died on August 14th, 2008. A native of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, he resided in Massachusetts for more than 70 years before moving to Nevada in 1999. He served in the United States Army during World War II, service for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Laurel (Rigney) Deveau, of Henderson, NV; son, David Deveau, of Quincy, MA; daughter, Elizabeth Deveau, of Henderson, NV; grandson, Nicholas Deveau, of Milton, MA; brother, Donald Deveau, of Newburyport, MA; and sister, Elizabeth Strom, of Chelmsford, MA. Predeceased by one brother, Lee Deveau, and two sisters, Jean Jefferson and Tillie Brinton. Private service and burial will be held in Boulder City, Nevada.
