Phyllis was our friend for many years. She was a very special person to us and we will never forget her. Phyllis was very caring and loved her grandchildren.
I, Selma, met Phyllis for the first time through the JWV Post, and at that time together we formed a Ladies Auxillary. We had some wonderful meetings. Phyllis was my closest friend and I enjoyed her company tremendously.
We will both miss Phyllis very much and will always treasure the memories of our times together with her and Burt.
We always included Phyllis and Burt to our family celebrations and it won't be the same without Phyllis. She loved good times and happy affairs. Recently, Phyllis and Burt attended our granddaughter, Laura's Bat Mitzvah, and my 85th birthday party. We were delighted they were there since they were like family to us.
We admired how brave Phyllis was having to cope with the leukemia. She will always be in our prayers.
